AhlulBayt News Agency: Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami underlined Iran’s firm determination to take revenge for the assassination of nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
"Enemies should await our response; we determine the time, place and quality of the response," General Salami said on Monday on the sidelines of the funeral ceremony of the Iranian nuclear scientist martyr Fakhrizadeh.
"But the punishment of perpetrators and commanders is for sure," he stressed.
Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh's car was targeted by an explosion and machinegun fire in Damavand's Absard 40 kilometers to the East of Tehran on Friday.
The nuclear scientist and one of his companions were immediately taken to a nearby hospital but he could not be saved.
